Honoring the Mother Wound with Lauren Roberts, Wed, May 10 6-8pm
Wednesday May 10 6-8 pm
The Mother Wound is the emotional and psychological trauma that is passed down from mother to daughter, in a patriarchal society.
As daughters, it can show up in the form self-harming thought patterns, and dysfunctional coping mechanisms. By addressing the Mother Wound, we are able to confront the unmet expectations that we had as a child, that are still affecting us in our adult lives.
In this workshop we will look at the primary functions of mothering and how society has made the enormous task of raising a daughter even more difficult. We will discuss and develop tools for healing the wounds and harmful thought patterns that we have been carrying around our whole lives.
This workshop will be approximately 2 hours long.
Please reserve your spot in advance, as space is limited to 8 women.
Tickets are available on a sliding scale of $15-$20.
