Come join us at Blackthorn Mercantile for a mystical afternoon of tea leaf and coffee grounds reading! Discover the ancient art of divination and unlock the secrets hidden in your cup. Our experienced insructor will guide you through the process, teaching you how to interpret symbols and patterns to unveil insights about your past, present, and future. Don't miss this unique opportunity to explore the world of divination in a cozy and beautiful setting.

This is both an entry level class as well as a class for those who have had some experience.You may bring your own loose leaf tea or coffee grounds (cups provided), but we will also provide some for use. We will discuss leaf size, tricks to not sitting your materials, how much liquid you want, and how to maneuver specific styles of cups and find shapes to interpret.

- All people (gender, race, sexual orientation...) are welcome here but this class isn't a great event for kids unless they are taking the class and the parent has given approval.

About your instructor:Erika Fortner, founder and Head Mistress of The House of Twigs, has been a Tarot reader, witch, medium and psychic for 29+ years. She is also the Head Mistress and Curator of THoT: The School of Ritual, Keven Craft Rituals, formerly Queen Meb of Portland and now an co-owner of Blackthorn Mercantile.She is an Artist with a BFA from Pratt Institute and has an extensive fine Art background in NYC with one of the top Artists in the world working with museums such as the MOMA and Guggenheim as well as living in Berlin, Germany and Venice, Italy.She is an eclectic practitioner with mixed ancestry that helps inspire her folklore and witchcraft practices, specializing in her own style of in-depth Tarot and Cartomancy reading, crystal work, and channeling.
